The Desi Groove Membership Terms & Conditions
 
By purchasing a membership with The Desi Groove, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
 

1. Membership Duration

All memberships run on an 11-month commitment from the date of purchase. This ensures consistency, progress, and a full experience within our dance community.
 
If you sign up midway through an ongoing active month, your 11-month commitment will officially begin on the 1st of the following month
You’ll gain access to your membership benefits starting from that fresh month.
 

2. Payment Options

Members may choose to pay annually (one-time payment) or monthly (recurring payments)
Regardless of payment frequency, the commitment period remains 11 months.
 

3. Cancellations & Renewals

Memberships cannot be cancelled, refunded, or renewed early during the active 11-month term.
Renewal or plan upgrades are available only once your current 11-month membership concludes.
 

4. Pause Policy (Premium Members Only)

Premium Members may pause their membership up to two times during their 11-month term.
 
  • Each pause period incurs a $20/month hold fee
  • A pause must be requested at least 7 days in advance
  • Membership and billing will automatically resume at the end of the pause period.
Both memberships may also be paused on a case-by-case basis (e.g. for medical reasons such as injury or pregnancy). In such cases, a doctor’s report must be submitted for review and approval by The Desi Groove team.
 

5. Lite Membership — Class Cancellations

Lite Members must cancel their booked class at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class time will forfeit the session for that week. This policy helps us manage class capacities fairly for all students.
 

6. Non-Transferable Membership

All memberships are strictly non-transferable and cannot be shared with any other individual.
Each membership is tied to the registered member’s name and contact information.
 

7. General Agreement

By confirming your payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions, including the 11-month commitment and membership-specific policies stated above.
